“Organization is not a priority”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

We golf at every island in the Caribbean and decided to try this resort after a bad experience at Sandy Lane. The course was acceptable, we played with a very nice local couple and the meal in the clubhouse was excellent. We found the check in for golf however very disappointing with no one telling us where to go , when to play, where to wait or any other guidance whatsoever, so we found the course management poor.

“Nice good quality golf”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

Had a great few rounds here in February . Staff very helpful. We purchased a three day pass giving unlimited golf and free club hire. No discount for having our own clubs. We had a buggy as some tees are quite away from the previous green and rather hot!
Good reasonably priced food. We had a delicious pizza. The course was in a very good condition.
We left our clubs at the course for a nominal fee and got a bus each way as there is a bus top right outside.

“Great course”
Reviewed February 6, 2014 via mobile

Had a real fun round on this super course. Challenging in places (watch out for deep greenside bunkers) but in fantastic condition well cared-for fairways and fast greens. The hired clubs were all fairly new Cobras and the Twilight round cost a mere $55 dollars inc club hire.
The staff were helpful and at 6.30 it is 2 for 1 Happy Hour at the bar. If you set off as near to 3pm as possible you will just about make the 18 providing you have a buggy. There is cold fresh drinking water all round the course which is welcome in the heat. Perhaps the only slight drawback was the presence of guys selling used golf balls which was out of setting with the club.

“nice course but overpriced”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

I and 3 friends were in barbados on holiday and had taken our golf clubs. We played the Barbados golf club as it was supposed to be the least expensive on the Island. well it probably was, but at 230 bbds dollars was probably twice what it was worth. In England I would expect to pay no more than £20/25 for a similar course with similar facilities.

“Well maintained course, good food”
Reviewed January 12, 2014 via mobile

Due to the burning sun we had the cart every time, fee for two and cart cost 170 Euros, if you play two times, it´s same price to make a deal for three tee times! I am sure you enjoy, does not matter what skill level you play. We eat the lunch also every time, it was good and tasty. Very friendly staff in all areas of the BGC.
