One of most favourite resturants on the island and it did not disappoint again. The setting is so lovely i would recommend asking for a table on the edge over looking the see it is so romantic. The food is expensive but you get what you pay for.

We went to the cliff years ago and didn't have a particularly good experience but on this occasion they got everything absolutely right. Great service, great table and exceptional food. Not cheap even by Barbados standards but worth every penny.

The Cliff was excellent & worth the high price. The food was phenomenal, service was 5 star and the view was amazing.

As you will see from my previous review, this had been my favourite restaurant. However, our meal was spoilt by children on the next table constantly jumping up and down to see the sea. I think their parents should have let them have the seats by the railing as this was very distracting right behind/next to us. Although I love the food here (although the menu did not seem to have changed in a year) we cancelled our second visit Friday night booking and went to Lonestar instead. No kids running around and much cooler.

Absolutely perfect food, amazing cocktails and the service is impeccable but it all comes together thanks to the setting and ambiance of the restaurant. Perhaps a little bit plain and boring on the outside thinks quickly change when you get inside. The top tier is reserved for the bar/lounge and is almost entirely lit by flame torches and offers a view of the beach (with resident stingray) and restaurant below.

There are 3 menus on offer and plenty to choose from (you can pick and mix from each menu except the tasting menu). Most wines are reasonably priced. Overall the restaurant is expensive but this is to some extent justified by the quality of the food, service and setting.

Highlight recommended for special occasions and couples, not really for those looking for a quick dinner.
