“A magical evening”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

This place, situated on a cliff overlooking the sea with the balconies hung with lanterns, provides a magical dining venue. The food lived up to our high expectations and the service was good. Book a later time if you don't want to be rushed, it's worth being able to linger. We enjoyed coffee and a digestif in the bar afterwards so that we could extend the experience!

“Fantastic all round.”
Reviewed March 9, 2014 via mobile

Booked only 3 hours ahead! But still got lovely sea views on the south side. Only spoilt by two groups (6 & 7) of loud yanks with very little in the way of manners.
Reception 100%
Cocktails 100%.
Service 100%
Food 100%
Value. Very expensive but so very worth it for the food and location.

“Classy and spectacular”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

We visited the Cliff in February having reserved a table 2 months earlier. We were not disappointed. From the minute you walk in you are treated like you are really special. We had pre dinner drinks in the bar area which is beautifully decorated and then were taken to our waterfront table. What a setting - it is just spectacular! We were delighted to find that the food was also outstanding. We visited with our 2 teenage children and all our meals were delicious. The service was very attentive and we had a fabulous evening. It isn't cheap but we all agreed that it was worth every penny and we all agreed it was the best evening we had whilst in Barbados.

“Great food, but you pay for the location”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

I always visit The Cliff when in Barbados, and my last visit was not a disappointment. To start off, the welcome is always warm and friendly and we were lucky enough to have a lovely table overlooking the water. The food was delicious, as always, but not particularly memorable. The Foie Gras I had to start was great, but I hate to say, not as good as The Tides'. The chocolate pudding I had was also delicious but was a bit overly-fussy. The chocolate coating was so ornate it was tricky to eat, so I felt that it was a bit style-over-substance.

The service was faultless and the view was stunning; I think that's really what you pay for. Our bill for two people (2 starters, 2 mains and 3 puddings plus wine) was about 2.5 times what it was in Daphne's and The Tides. Having said that, I will always go back as you can't beat the drama of the place.

Heard this was a must place to eat while in Barbados and so true. Elegant white glove service ... a must while visiting Barbados.
