The restaurant is stunning, the place is lit by giant burning torches everywhere! There are massive fish and stingrays swimming in the water just below.

The staff are really friendly and attentive. Good wine and cocktails. The food is some of the best we've eaten. The steak was melt in your mouth. We noticed there was no steak knife provided but once you cut into it, we realized you didn't need one!

There was a light shower and within 5 seconds these coverings flew out above us on zip lines. There is a cookbook on sale so you can have a go at making the dishes at home.

Book as much in advance as you can to get a table by the water.

The Cliff is a top end restaurant with prices to match. That said it delivers on many levels, whilst expensive the service, food, and location take an awful lot of beating. The cocktail lounge is very comfortable with excellent staff, superb cocktails, and a view to die for.
Food and service in the main restaurant area really are first class. View of the Tarpon swimming in the sea below is merely icing on the cake.

This is basically a 5/5… but I need to take into consideration the price and a few extremely small annoyances when you go to a place this caliber!

First off, this place is a must IF you have a few dollars to spend. EVERYONE seems to say on these reviews "we go to many 5 star restaurants" haha…so I will say the same;) My wife and I took my parents here for a night out. The place from start to finish was a wow! The place is beautiful…world class. Everywhere you look, the place feels "finished".

When you enter, someone takes your vehicle. Everyone is standing waiting to serve you. You are then ushered upstairs to the lounge to have a pre drink…which are wonderful. Here, the seats are cushy leather sofas, overlooking the beautify vast ocean. Drinks average around $15US. After an hour (we were early), we were escorted to our seats downstairs. We booked 3 weeks earlier, so were able to get a railing seat (which is a must), but the annoying part was, we had to be gone in under 2 hours. They were lucky we were done our meal before that because after spending $700 + tip, there was no way we were going to be rushed. Other reviews had also mentioned this.

You basically have 2 courses to choose from….so the minimum purchase will be $245 Barbados dollars per person. The food was great! World class. I had swordfish…was a bit dry, but my scallops were amazing. The same went for everyone at our table. We shared dessert and glad we did. Wow! So well presented. Same goes with the wine…had an excellent reserve wine from New Zealand…perfectly presented... well trained!

During the meal, they fed the Tarpon fish which was cool. As a result, sting rays come to clean up the scraps…fun. We had a great meal, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was top notch!! So why the 4 stars? Well, price is very high, so it was a bit annoying to be reminded at the end that they needed our seats when we were waiting for our bill. Also…the restaurant seems to sit half empty till 8pm…then fills up…U'd think they would optimize the sunset and rush a bit more.
