The Cliff is a must! Don't miss the experience of The Cliff. This restaurant sets a new standard for dining in the Caribbean. We have visited most of the islands and I dare say no restaurant comes close to delivering the experience The Cliff delivers. From the time you walk in you are held in awe by the perfect setting that, in ways, resembles an old pirate ship, but much more beautiful. You are greeted by one of the best trained and absolutely beautiful staffs anywhere. There are three levels and the upper level is a perfect setting for a casual cocktail or two before dinner. You are certainly not rushed and the staff just majically appears when you are ready to dine. The wine list is quite good and offers the perfect choice of fine wines from all parts of the globe. There are two menus each night -- the normal menu and that night's specials. Our meals were wonderful. The wait staff was among the best trained we have encountered anywhere in the world. Then came desert. We split a chocolate dish that was simply to die for. One note: this restaurant is quite expensive. We spent about $450 US for our meal, drink and a quite generous tip. But it was worth it. We had just left two five-star resorts and they didn't hold a candle to our Cliff experience. I highly recommend you make this your special stop on Barbados.

I still think this place is the number 1 place to eat in Barbados. I dont think its overpriced. Service could not be better. Every course has been perfect. Views are perfect.
If you book early you 'should' get the special views of the sea.
If I could I would eat here everyday of my holiday.
(except when i fancy one of the 'Chefette' Rotis!)

This is one of the most romantic restaurants I know. Albeit it is late August, surprisingly empty in the restaurant...but that might be due to the cost....fixed price (extortionate) for two courses and that's without drinks or dessert. Wine was expensive and they bought a different year to that on the menu. They do have a fabulous location.....and the food is always top quality. But consider remortgaging your house before you go!! I will think twice about going again.....but still has that magic factor. If you haven't tried it before, it is worth going once to enjoy the food and surroundings. Book early if you are going in high season and ask for one of the waterside tables.

First time for us, it was like being Ina 007 movie, the ladies at the front desk were 007 material
Looked fab, the whole show is a visual delight.

Cocktails in the upper house, DJ playing the cool sounds and the food, well the food was just ace.

If your counting the pennies keep away, if you want a night to remember then this is the place.

Top tip take a driver or a taxi stay long don't just eat and go its like a movie in action.

Enjoy and well done the cliff

Our first visit to The Cliff, well if you're in Barbados you have to!

Totally amazing setting and experience from start to finish, lots of people have written long reviews on here so I won't duplicate.

To conclude, a must do at least once sort of place and the atmosphere cannot be faulted. Price.... well to be honest the food at Tides was 'marginally' better and signicantly cheaper but The Cliff has the edge on the atmosphere, just. So, glad I went and you really must go in order to make up your own mind.
