“Excellent”

This is a perfect beach setting and also a place to go to meet the local people. This is truly Barbados and you can even go on the bus!

“Excellent beach with calm waters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

Paynes Bay beach was just perfect. The water was clear, calm, and the beach was clean. Not a lot of people and the locals were nice. I practically had a whole section all to myself. I paid about 10 US for a beach chair with umbrella and the weather was just perfect as well. So sight of Jelly fish, just jumping fish and turtles! Spent several hours in the water, it was nice and cozy. Not too deep, just right.

“Paradise ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014 via mobile

This beach was just lovely! Not crowded at all and had lovely sand with clear, calm waters to swim in. There were the occasional local selling boat trips etc but were very polite and did not pester you if you weren't interested. Worth walking right around and visiting the small fish market opposite end away from Holetown as it is very pretty that side and sells fish at a great price! This beach is easily accessed as is on the bus route.

“BEAUTIFUL BEACH”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Love this beach - nice helpful beach boys, Coconutz Cafe for drinks, showers and loo facilities. Paynes is never too busy so you are not sat on top of one another.
