We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and had never stayed in an all inclusive hotel before. The hotel is well looked after, gardens and beach area well maintained. On the beach and around the pools you are constantly provided with iced water, lemonade, iced lollies, etc, so no chance of dehydration! Our room was kept immaculately clean. It had a huge double bed, efficient air conditioning, a good sized balcony with a lovely view over the gardens to the brilliant blue sea beyond. The bathroom/dressing room was fine (with an iron and ironing board). The menu choices at lunch and dinner were always good and the food was well cooked and presented but it could have done with more of a Bajun 'kick' to it. Breakfasts were a self service buffet with plenty of choice. The wine served with the meals was not really to my taste but I easily made up for it by consuming far too many cocktails. All the staff were friendly and helpful - as was everyone we meet on the island.
All inclusive hotels are probably not our thing but if you just want somewhere to chill out for a week or two in the sunshine this would be a great destination. But do try to get out on the yellow 'reggae' buses which go past the hotel very regularly to Bridgetown and Holetown.More
