Ate here on a few occasions and always enjoyed the food and amazing views, great service and varied menu. The buffet is probably too good and we overdid it ...less is more! Crazy staff at the bar improved my knowledge of Rum Cocktails and the comings and goings of the Sandy Lane celebrities added to the fun. The Bar Manageress (you know who you are?..is a star)

Can't recommend this enough. My husband and I have just returned from 2 months in Barbados we had intended to have the Sunday buffet lunch at Sandy Lane but we just ran out of time! but decided to have afternoon tea instead. We had excellent service right from the minute we arrived at the gate where your name was checked before being alowed in. Taxi doors opened for us and a very warm welcome made. We were offered a choice of 2 tables which had been laid especially for us, one in the sun and one in the shade, we chose the sun and a beautiful view of the sea. We were given a choice of tea I had Earl Grey my huband english tea then a cake stand absolutely full of delicious sandwiches and cakes, so many we couldn't eat them all and our friendly waiter offered to box them up so we could take them away. We sat enjoying our fabulous surroundings for at least 2 hours. We expected the bill to be extortionate but was pleasantly suprised 95 bd for the classic high tea, 11bd for 1 extra pot of tea and 19 bd for 2 glasses of Evian water. Worth every penny and can't wait to go back.

This huge restaurant had a lovely setting , but felt like hotel formula dining experience.
Good if you have children as it offers a self service buffet and BBQ.

It is expensive....$125 per person...but it's the Caribbean and it is in the luxurious surroundings of Sandy Lane which comes with a beautiful view, first class service with a smile and, if you want to stay after dinner, wonderful live music or entertainment to enjoy with an after dinner drink. The buffet itself is fabulous. Huge prime ribs, suckling pigs, lamb chops, several varieties of fish, lots of local dishes, etc., etc., etc....a really incredible selection of foods and desserts....even a cheese table with a world class selection of about 20 cheeses. We loved it. We arrived at about 7pm and stayed for the music afterwards and didn't leave until after 11 pm. It was a whole evening's entertainment.

Bajan Blue is located in the very exclusive Sandy Lane Hotel. The (very attentive) service was pleasant and friendly throughout the meal. There was a huge (and I mean huge!) range of very good quality food, but essentially this was still just a self-service buffet meal. We paid US$300 for two meals and three rum punches. Would I recommend this? - No. It's really not worth paying this much money for unless you've got the appetite of a giant!
