We stopped by here for refreshment while on a cruise. The chalkboard out front advertised $2 local beer and that was all the nudging we needed to climb the stairs. We sat on the balcony overlooking the busy marina on a bright, warm Feb. day. The balcony is worth it just for people watching, but it gives you another perspective of Bridgetown and a good photo op. There is free wi if here, which is a plus. We ordered a couple of local beers and decided to try the local favorite, fish cakes. They came deep fried with several sauces for dipping. The best way to describe them is kind of like fried salmon croquettes, but without the fishy salmon taste. I can't remember the kind of fish they used, but they were tasty and just right portions. Service here is laid back. I won't call it slow, because we were on vacation and not in any hurry to be anywhere or do anything. We enjoyed the atmosphere and had a little slice of Barbados, if just for a while.

We couldn't get a table at the bars outside on the waterfront so headed upstairs. So glad we did! A very warm welcome, a much better view (great for people watching) and lovely cold drinks. We didn't eat but the food smelled and looked great. Would definitely go here again - even if every table at the other bars were empty!!

My wife and I stopped by while visiting Bridgetown on a cruise. The location is on the second floor and outside seating overlooks the marina where there were some boats docked. While enjoying the free wi-fi, always important when cruising, we enjoyed some cold local beer and French fries that were very good. The entertainment was watching the turtles play and look for food.

We visited the Marina Bar on the last full day of our cruise on a rainy, cloudy day in Barbados, although the warmth of the welcome we received here, definitely made it worth venturing out.

Take the trip up the stairs and you will be greeted by friendly staff who can't do enough for you.

Wi-Fi internet is available free for customers, just ask the staff for the code, and English football on the tv.

The rum punches are seriously heavy duty, although delicious, they certainly don't skimp on the rum! have to be honest and say we all had a soft drink on the side, or don't think we would have made it back to the ship, and that was only after one lol ! Also very reasonably priced.

Food looked lovely and reasonably priced too, although we didn't try it on this occasion.

You can either sit inside or out on the balcony, looking at the Marina and Bridgetown.

Staff spent a lot of time checking with customers to see they were ok, and were very sociable,

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Bridgetown! Located next to the historical swing bridge.

We visited the Marina more than once on our recent trip and enjoyed some great afternoon Bajan refreshment (i.e. Banks and rum and coke) in the perfect spot - great views across Bridgetown. spotting turtles in the Careenage, boats coming and going and people watching. Just perfect!
