Owner description: Come join us for an award winning, relaxed fun day of sailing a 43 foot catamaran boat that cruises along the coast of Barbados! We sail with limited numbers to ensure a more personal and intimate experience. Our 5 hour tour includes pick up from your hotel/resort/ship, snorkeling with the turtles, ship wreck or reef and a leisurely lunch stop. We provide snorkeling gear, hors d' houerves while we sail, a full 'Bajan buffet lunch [this includes local fish, baked chicken, macaroni pie, pasta salad, potato salad, tossed salad and dinner rolls/garlic bread & delicious deserts] and an open bar to keep you hydrated and relaxed. We serve wine, rum punch, coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks throughout the day! We have cruises during the day and evening cruises. Warning: don't save this for your last day, you will want to do it again during your stay in Barbados! You can also book a private cruise! Our boat is available for private charter for those of you that want the boat for a birthday party, wedding party, or just an intimate getaway. For this we charge by the hour, with a minimum of 3 hour or for as long as you would like the experience to last. We usually take a maximum of 14 guests but we allow up to 20 people for these cruises. Calypso Girl is a 2003 43ft fontaine pajot sailing catamaran that is very comfortable and stable, perfect for just about every one. She has a custom ladder making it easy to get in and out of the water. A huge head (bath room) , indoor and out door seating so you can get just the right amount of sun, and a big front net for you to relax on.

A wonderful day spent with Nick and Val. This was worth every penny! We could not have found more gracious hosts for the day. Nick picked us up straight from the Jewel of the Seas. As soon as we arrived there was a table full of breakfast items and drinks. They were constantly making sure we had a full drink in hand and full belllies! Nick came around with probably four or five rounds of appetizers before our catered Barbados lunch! Nick was very sweet as I had never snorkeled before. He was very patient and personally pulled me around on a float and showed me many shipwrecks, tropical fish, and lots of turtles. He has sweetly named all the turtles. Nick and Val are father and son and I like to support a family run business! Book with them! You will have a memorable day that will last a lifetime!

Nick, Val, and Damien were amazing hosts, making sure we had enough to eat and drink and very accommodating to a sea sick passenger. When we couldn't see turtles in one area, we relocated and had success. There was one passenger who was snorkeling for the first time and Nick very patiently and kindly helped him in the water and throughout the tour. The crew did all they could to make sure we were comfortable at all times. Definitely worth your time and money!

We went to Barbados for our first anniversary and were looking for a snorkeling tour with an intimate setting and personal attention. I wanted to avoid having to share a boat with 30-50 other people, which is what you can expect from the big cruises. Calypso takes a maximum of 14 people. We were actually lucky enough to have the boat all to ourselves that day, which was amazing. Nick and Val are wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home and the drinks and food never stop coming! They are both natives of Barbados and were able to give us great information about the island as we sailed around. We saw 3 shipwrecks and snorkeled with turtles who were not at all afraid of us! We had such a great time on our day cruise we decided to book a sunset cruise a couple days later. We felt like we had chartered our own private cruise on both occasions. Nick and Val are fantastic and we will definitely be cruising with them on our next trip to Barbados!

We booked this excursion on line based on a recommendation from friends. It was the highlight of our trip! We sailed on June 21st while in Bridgetown on the Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas. The crew - Nick, Nick and Val were wonderful hosts and we had a very relaxing enjoyable day. Since the group aboard was only 13 we didn't feel crowded and got to meet some great people. We felt very welcome and they kept us well fed and made the best rum punch! The snorkeling was great, swimming with the turtles and seeing the amazing ship wrecks.
Would definitely suggest this excursion to anyone looking for a fun relaxing day in Barbados!!

Our group of six sailed with Nick, Val and Damien on May 8th, while in Bridgetown on the Carnival Valor. It was an awesome excursion, it was the highlight on our seven day southern cruise. We were treated like family from the time we boarded, plenty of food and drink, not to mention the amazing snorkelling experience over wrecks and with the turtles. Unforgetable day for the family. Nick, Val and Damien were incredible hosts. Again, simply an amazing way to spend five hours.
