Owner description: Come join us for an award winning, relaxed fun day of sailing a 43 foot catamaran boat that cruises along the coast of Barbados! We sail with limited numbers to ensure a more personal and intimate experience. Our 5 hour tour includes pick up from your hotel/resort/ship, snorkeling with the turtles, ship wreck or reef and a leisurely lunch stop. We provide snorkeling gear, hors d' houerves while we sail, a full 'Bajan buffet lunch [this includes local fish, baked chicken, macaroni pie, pasta salad, potato salad, tossed salad and dinner rolls/garlic bread & delicious deserts] and an open bar to keep you hydrated and relaxed. We serve wine, rum punch, coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks throughout the day! We have cruises during the day and evening cruises. Warning: don't save this for your last day, you will want to do it again during your stay in Barbados! You can also book a private cruise! Our boat is available for private charter for those of you that want the boat for a birthday party, wedding party, or just an intimate getaway. For this we charge by the hour, with a minimum of 3 hour or for as long as you would like the experience to last. We usually take a maximum of 14 guests but we allow up to 20 people for these cruises. Calypso Girl is a 2003 43ft fontaine pajot sailing catamaran that is very comfortable and stable, perfect for just about every one. She has a custom ladder making it easy to get in and out of the water. A huge head (bath room) , indoor and out door seating so you can get just the right amount of sun, and a big front net for you to relax on.

Had a fantastic time on today's trip with Calypso. Nick and Val were a class act in looking after us with excellent food, drink and conversation. We received a high class experience for a very reasonable price: a well stocked and all inclusive bar, great food and snacks, a comfortable sail along the coast, and snorkeling equipment to see shipwrecks and turtles!

I'm so glad we opted for this more personalised experience (half the boat were locals!) than one of the overcrowded touristy boats on offer elsewhere. I would definitely recommend Calypso to friends and anyone else looking for a catamaran trip out of Bridgetown.

We decided to book a Calypso cruise for the day after a recommendation from local friends. The welcome was a warm one and we were made to feel immediately at home. We were so impressed with the ways in which Nick and his father Val went the extra mile to ensure we were having the best possible experience: whether that was the abundance of tasty food and drinks or that extra pillow that we didn't even know we needed. We visited sunken wrecks to snorkel - all the equipment was provided - and then stopped again to swim with sea turtles before a large long bajan style feast for lunch. Make sure you ask Val to tell you the story and show you the pictures of how they got the boat. We couldn't have been more relaxed by the end of the day. This was the highlight of our trip and we would recommend Calypso to anyone looking for a wonderful cruise with a personal/family touch.

We are a family os seven who chartered the calypso girl for a sunset cruise. It was absolutely superb with wonderful snacks endless drinks and a wonderful crew. Nick and his dad Val. It was the best value for money entertainment we have ever had in Barbados and we have been visiting for ten years. We are considering a five hour cruise within the next week if time allows. Do not miss this it is wonderful.

I have been on many catemeran cruises up the west coast but this was by far the best. Small, very friendly, fantastic snacks and drinks (that just kept on coming!!) and a magical experience swimming with 3 beautiful giant turtles. Thoroughly recommended!

We just went on the daily cruise with Nick and Val and had an amazing time. They have a limited number of people they take out which keeps the trip personal and interesting. Nick had us laughing the entire day, provided great food, endless drinks and was very informative. The snorkel sites we went to were great and we had extra time to be able to stay longer to swim with the turtles. You will not be disappointed!
