While in Barbados recently, we wanted to make sure we booked a catamaran sail up the coastline and elected to go with Bolador - so glad we did! Captain Jeff and team put on a brilliant day out on the water. He keeps the maximum number of guests to 14, so there's lots of room to move about, plenty of time to swim with the turtles and snorkel the reefs - and to put on a good food spread! Too, they are not stingy with their drinks - free rum punch all day long (and it's delish!)

What was BEST about the cruise was the fact that we actually did most of it under full sail! Awesome! The western coastline of Barbados is beautiful, the cruise was serene. We sailed for a couple of hours up the coast and then anchored in a small cove, where we swam with the turtles. Loved that experience; the sea turtles are amazing, gentle creatures... I could have stayed and swam with them all day. We then headed back down southward along the coast, to a shipwreck, where we again got to snorkel over the wreck and along the coral reef. There were fish EVERYWHERE! As soon as we were in the water, the fish appeared, swam with us. Very cool experience.

The Bajan buffet lunch the team put on was excellent... they had the best macaroni pie I had the whole time I was in Barbados, bar none!

If you're looking for a catamaran experience but don't want to ride the bigtime party boats and would rather a smaller group, this is the sea tour for you. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Captain Jeff and the Bolador! You will have a fabulous day!

Very lovely day trip sailing along the West Cost of Barbados - snorkeling with ship wrecks, reefs full of fishes, swimming with turtles, excellent lunch, free drinks through out the whole day - very friendly & pleasant crew - very good service & value for money.
Should do during your visit!

You don't have to get off the boat so really good for less active/ shy/ older too.
I would highly recommend.

The five of us wanted a snorkelling trip without having to share a catamaran with dozens of people. Jeff and Mike provided an expert and friendly service, so that we had a very pleasant trip. Food was excellent and catered for all tastes. Ironically, chartering this boat cost us less than going on the other "cattlemarans" which, when we saw them were all crowded. Highly recommended.

Thought we booked with Bolador tours. Had email confirmation and then a half hour before our tour was to begin, I find out that they had a problem the night before with one of their boats that I booked for 10 people with the stipulation that one person needed help getting into and off their catamaran. Was told by email that there would be no problem for that person.
When told their was a problem was offered to go out on a friends catamaran that had the same facilities as Silver Moon so we agreed since we had wasted half a day waiting for this snorkel/ seat turtle trip. Friends catamaran did not accommodate one of the group who had to sit on catamaran all day.
Worst costumer relations that I have ever experienced. They could have sent an email the night before or first thing that morning informing me of the situation.
You will never be sure if you do have a booking.

We actually sailed the Bolander in Nov 2010 for my 40 th birthday! Turned out is was just myself husband and one other lady....even though very low booking still went out and had a wonderful time....free flowing drinks....swam with turtles. Best turtle swim ever experienced...their were only a few of us so it was very up close and personal, we even had turtle swimming and scratching at my back and then surfaced and sprayed water right in husbands face! Best experience with wild life ever experienced! Jeff then took us to boatyard for lunch which was excellent and then we drove around Island for a tour. Jeff took us to some very beautiful secluded beaches! One of the beaches was like standing in pink baby powder so relaxing....picked up and dropped off at hotel! Highly recommended, Jeff did say he does not overcrowd catamaran so everyone can have a great experience!
