“Lunch trip with Capt Ron”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

My wife and i had set up a last minute trip out on Capt Ron's "Wasn't Me" May 8th on our trip on the Carnival Valor. We were picked up in front of the Cruise Terminal and brought a short ways to his Cat in a small Harbor area near the cruise ship. The Boat was very nice, extremely well kept and clean(no shoes Allowed on Board) about 47ft i think it was and we had a good strong wind that day, the water was perfect and the boat was fast. We snorkeled with the turtles, but they only seemed to come one at a time so it wasn't like swimming with 10 at a time, but you did get up as close as you wanted to each turtle. The Food and Drink was fabulous. We ate flying fish which i had never tried before and numerous other dishes served that were equally as good. You can tell Capt Ron and his great crew love their work and strived to make the trip a great experience and as relaxing as you wanted it to be. The trip was at least 5 hours. Ron drove us back to the cruise terminal in plenty of time including enough time to fix a flat tire before we left the dock to go back to the ship. So i would highly recommend Capt Ron and his crew including his lovely wife who handles the emails and was so helpful with our reservation.
Thanks again for the wonderful Trip Capt Ron and hope to see you again one day

“Standards remain high”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Having travelled with Captain Ron on "Why Not" and "Wasn't Me" many times over the last 20 years the one thing that shines out is that the standards of his cruises remain extremely high.
The boat is spotless and never overcrowded and so always plenty of room to move whether you want the sun or shade.
The food can not be faulted and the staff are always on hand to fill your glass.
Five hours of total pleasure!!

“Take at trip with Captain Ron on the "Wasn't Me"”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the catamaran named "Wasn't Me". Captain Ron, who we had heard about from a friend back home, was a really nice captain and his crew was wonderful. We snorkeled in two locations, first with the turtles and then along a coral reef. It was a relaxing day with great food and drinks. Sailing is always better than a boat with a motor and this trip didn't disappoint. The macaroni pie was the best I have had!

“Best boat cruise in Barbados”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

We just spent three wks in Barbados and went out on Wasn't Me (47' cat) three times. Captain Ron and his crew know how to entertain guests. All you can drink--they make a mean pina colata and of course rum punch, etc. Swimming with the turtles and snorkeling is great fun in those beautiful waters. Then lunch of flying fish, chicken, lots of salads---amazing tastes and plenty of it. Then a delightful trip back to the harbor in Bridgetown and dessert along the way. This boat out sails the other cats that take cruises and there is lots of room for guests to move around on the boat. Captain Ron limits the number of passengers so that everyone gets treated really well. the crew is fun and entertaining which makes the day fantastic. Highly suggest this for all ages.

“Great friendly crew and captain.”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

Arrived on the day not knowing what to expect as I had not seen any info about the day just been told by word of mouth by a friend. We were picked up from the hotel on time by a really friendly driver and greeted by the captains wife and a amazing boat which was spotless.
Before leaving Ron the captain informed me as I payed in cash I had payed to much and returned some money which I thought was a great start from a honest person.
Sailing and music were great and was offered drinks with no limit. Food was excellent with plenty of selection. The only down side to the day was the location for snorkelling which was with about another forty people from other boats, not what you want when trying to see the turtles. The reefe we swam on was very poor, nothing special and very few small fish, not worth the swim.
Overall I would recommend this as a great day out and the best boats to sail on.
