We ate here twice during our recent holiday from the a la carte menu, we did hear it can get very busy especially Sunday lunch but fairly quiet on the evenings whilst we visited. Really nice split pea soup & salt fish, Cajun swordfish and steak also v nice. Very friendly front of house lady and it has a nice chilled atmosphere with a traditional theme. Enjoyed both visits - nice food.

Too higher price for mediocre buffet. Prices should be clearly displayed in the restaurant.although the setting of the restaurant was nice. I would not go back again

I ate Sunday brunch buffet at Brown Sugar on my recent trip to Barbados. We made a reservation and I think that it's advisable if you plan on going on the weekend, because the place is bustling and seems to be very popular with the locals we spoke to. The place is filled with lovely plants and even live steel drum music and aims to create a casual, creole-like atmosphere. The food was good and included all the dishes we had come to recognize as local staples - pepper pot, fried flying fish, macaroni pie, and rice and peas. We also had some good lamb stew and a lentil soup, and there are enough meatless options to make it enjoyable for vegetarians.

The food was excellent, efficient staff, we were well looked after, and the company was also good. It was a great night.
