Thank you, Claudette, for making this such a memorable tour for us. Your local knowledge and enthusiasm was tremendous and the choice of food stops was exceptional. Can’t fault it.

We chose to be collected from our hotel to travel to Bridgestone for the tour.
Our tour guide Janelle was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about Barbadian history and the origin of much of the food.
We had some beautiful food and visited places we probably wouldn’t have considered.
The fish cakes and beef stew were my favourites.
Walking was easy and you really got a feel of Barbadian culture.
A truly great tour.
We were supplied with water and umbrellas (one or 2 torrential rain storms)
Would definitely recommend for foodies !!

This was a great tour around Bridgetown led by Janelle. It is a very easy flat walk. In fact I was surprised to see we had only done 5000 steps. She was knowledgeable about history and the town. We had 7 food stops in all, favourites were: fish cakes, beef roll and chocolate shop ice cream.

Very much recommended.

It was fun to try different kinds of local food, most of which we loved. Janelle did a great job and gave us lots of information and history!

Although it was blazing hot , Paulette never showed any signs of lowering her enthusiasm! She was passionate about her islands history and it’s food. We had a great introduction to so many new experiences. Every dish was explained and everyone’s requests were met. It was so nice to be able to visit the areas where the locals frequent and get a feel for everyday life.
