“Wow - even us hackers loved this place. Highlight of Bermuda trip”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

We didn't stay at the Fairmont hotel so don't think that is a requirement. We simply called and made a reservation from where we were staying and took the bus over. There is a free shuttle from the gate up, so you don't have to make the long walk if you don't want to.

The cost for club rentals, cart and 18 holes for two was around $210, but very worth it for our biggest splurge of the trip. Neither of us is a golfer. We hack our way around any par 3 course and pick up half the time. This course is beautiful and challenging. Just playing on it forces you to improve your game. I think the back nine may be the best I have ever played. Lost three balls on the front nine and none on the back.

We played late in the day when the course was empty and never felt rushed at all.

We are already talking about another trip to Bermuda in the fall and this is the one thing we definitely will do again.

A short, very well manicured golf course with tremendous views! Not being a TRUE golfer, this was perfect as we didn't have to take out too many big clubs and were able to enjoy the surroundings.

A challenge for us, true golfers might have an easier time, but all will enjoy!

“Challenge Yourself!!”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Off the bat, you may think "Oh, it's just a Par 3 course, no biggie". Well play a round there and challenge yourself. The course is always in Excellent condition and the staff are super friendly. Beautiful views of the ocean from most of the course. Ranked in the top 5 Par 3 courses in the world!!

“Par 3 course”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

I live on Bermuda and have played this course a few times. It's a nice little course, only a Par 3, but challenging to the average golfer. The course looks great, with some superb views from all over the course.

The cost per round is, in my view, expensive for the type of course. You'll pay more for other Bermuda courses, but they will be full size courses and also have the views etc.

One particular point of contention for me is that fact that they mandate the use of carts before the twilight rates. I can see no reason for this, other than to make more money from the poor tourist. Yes, the course is hilly, but I think it should be a personal preference if you want to take a buggy or not. Presumably it speeds up play, so they not only make money from the buggy, but gain a greater throughput.

Decent clubhouse and a nice restaurant above the club shop.

My opinion - pay a bit extra and play one of the other courses on the Island. And walk, it's better for you!

“Not just a par 3”

course to ourselves during the week, plenty of sand water hills holes range from 130 to 210 from the blue, so you need almost all your clubs.
