Being a three time visitor to the Island, we know how expensive everything is, and try to stay away from the "tourist traps." That being said, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse was one of the best bargains anywhere. We took 4 kids to the top, after stopping in the gift shop for tickets. At $2.50 each, you can't go wrong. The stairs were a bit of a challenge, but there were plenty of platforms to stop and read all about the lighthouse along the way. There were benches to sit on if one gets tired. Once we made it out on the platform, the view was beautiful. We were up on a clear day, and we could see to the St. David lighthouse on the other end of the island. This was a wonderful trip!

The gift shop has pretty good prices on t shirts and the like if that's your thing as well!

The bathrooms were clean when we visited, as well. No problems there.

We walked here from the Fairmont Southhampton. It's worth the climb (if you are fit) on a sunny day just to get the view of the entire island. We got amazing pictures.

This lighthouse boasts gorgeous views all around and has a cute little gift shop at the base. The climb to the top offers many landings for resting, but the catwalk around the top is pretty narrow.

Were there last week. Very hot day. We did not go to the top of the light house because we were so tired. The view was great from the bottom of the light house.

Gibb's Hill Lighthouse is well worth a visit. The bus line dropped us at the bottom of the hill and it was a bit of a walk up to the lighthouse. Once there, the cost was $2.50 to climb to the top of the lighthouse. The 360 degree view of the island outside the top of the lighthouse is stunning!
