Being a three time visitor to the Island, we know how expensive everything is, and try to stay away from the "tourist traps." That being said, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse was one of the best bargains anywhere. We took 4 kids to the top, after stopping in the gift shop for tickets. At $2.50 each, you can't go wrong. The stairs were a bit of a challenge, but there were plenty of platforms to stop and read all about the lighthouse along the way. There were benches to sit on if one gets tired. Once we made it out on the platform, the view was beautiful. We were up on a clear day, and we could see to the St. David lighthouse on the other end of the island. This was a wonderful trip!
The gift shop has pretty good prices on t shirts and the like if that's your thing as well!
The bathrooms were clean when we visited, as well. No problems there.
