“A Great Historical Place to Visit in Bermuda”
Reviewed March 22, 2012

Take the number 7 bus from Hamilton and ask the bus driver to drop you off near the Gibb's Hill Lighthouse. A short 5-6 min. walk from the main road and the Lighthouse is yours to discover.

$2.50 per person to walk the stairs to the top of the Lighthouse...I won't tell how many stairs there are but it's between 150 and 200 one way. Pretty steep climb up..Use the hand-rails!!! The view from the top is excellent!

Gift shop is a fun place to search for gifts. Prices are reasonable..cold drinks available. The shop keeper is friendly and knows alot of history. Take your time and enjoy the sights.

Site is accessable via taxi or car. Washrooms onsite as well.

Great place to visit for the first-time visitor to Bermuda.

“Amazing View Is Worth the Climb”

Gibb's Hill Lighthouse is one of Bermuda's few bargains! For a few bucks and a lot of effort, you get the best 360-degree view on the island.

It is well worth the walk to reach this interesting land mark. The view from the top of the beautiful Bermuda vistas was awesome.

“One of oldest cast iron lighthouses.”
Reviewed March 2, 2012

For a small fee you can climb to the top for great pics of the surrounding countryside. Definitely put it on the list if you have kids or a camera. Actually, just put it on the list anyway.
