All the beaches in Southampton are nice and this is one of them. Crystal clear water, good size beach.

“Great for snorkeling, not the best for wading in the water!”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

My mom and I went to this beach several times during our stay on the South Shore. We heard the snorkeling was excellent and it was! As soon as you stepped in the water you saw fish (big fish!) swimming by your feet. Just a short swim out and you saw all kinds of coral and fish. The water was great, at times a little murky but most of the time crystal clear. As for swimming, it's a little rocky and the beach is small so if you want to swim or wade in the water I would recommend the other beaches of the South Shore. Plenty of parking. Snorkel, umbrella rentals available. I don't believe there is any food or restroom facilities.

“Gr8 snorkeling and picturesque”
Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

Situated on the south shore after Horseshoe Bay.
A small beach area with the pinkest coral sand.
Gr8 snorkeling out near the 2 large rocks that jut out of the water, if you explore those areas you will see a variety of fish including parrotfish, angel, wrasse, trumpet, bright blue tangs and triggerfish. We saw a group of 8 electric blue parrotfish around 2ft in length which was cool.
To gain access to the beach you have to walk down wooden steps.
I would say check wind weather condition is 'calm' or 'light winds' b4 travelling to this beach as we found several times it was just too rough or dangerous for snorkeling and visibility poor.

“Best Snorkeling Beach”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Some of the best snorkeling in Bermuda - home of many beautiful Parrot Fish and probably the pinkest sand in Bermuda. Its a very small beach and can get crowded especially at high tide.

“Great snorkling beach”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

This is one of the best beaches for casual snorkeling I've found in Bermuda. Few people. Clear water. Lots of fish and coral structures. Bath house and changing area. Small rental stand mid-week. Right on Bus routes 7 & 8 so easy access.
