Owner description: Swim in safety at Bermuda's most popular beach, best known for the lifeguard on duty from May to September.

Horseshoe Bay is the quintessential beach destination for any beach enthusiast. Every view on this beach is like a postcard. From the towering rock formations to the clear turquoise, blue water to the sugary light pink sand, it’s a tropical beach lover’s dream. We have been on this beach many times and coming here never gets old. There are no big buildings/hotels on this beach and this makes it ideal for a peaceful day of sunbathing, relaxing and beach combing. When I think of Bermuda, I think of Horseshoe Bay.

Have been there many times. We went to Bermuda on our honeymoon and go back every five years. Horseshoe Bay is I think the most beautiful beach on Bermuda. We are planning our 25th Wedding Anniversary on a cruise to Bermuda with our three grown up children and their spouses and we are headed back to Bermuda. None of them have ever been so it will be fun showing them around one of our favorite places to visit.

Beautiful beach best visited in the off hours or on non-cruiseship days. The best beach we visited by far.

Nice with a lot of tourist. This is one of the spots that the cruise ships send the voyagers. To the left you will find quiet secluded areas with less beach goers.

When I first heard that Bermuda had pink sand, I expected every single grain in the sand to be pink. That was not the case, but it's no big deal :P
The beach is so beautiful. When we arrived by bus (we bought the three day transportation pass, SO worth it!), we saw a local and he told us to walk more to the left of the beach, not the right, because that's where all the tourists go. So we did.
The sand is so fine and so nice, and in the water, the sand is still smooth. Other beaches, you can feel shells sticking out and stabbing you in the foot, but not here. If you walk really, REALLY left, it gets even more beautiful.
Yes, it was crowded, but I've been to more crowded beaches than this one.
I highly recommend going to this beach. It is worth the long trek up and down the hill (which you can pay one dollar to be brought down, and two dollars to be brought up)!
