This is a perfect beach to visit , walk, swin & enjoy, and yes, the sand really is coral pink tinged. The sea just now is a constant 70 degrees and clear and great fun. Good showers and changing facilities. this time of year only a few people on the beach and the light is amazing.

Take the bus to this little treasure. The buses are clean and well kept - and extremely affordable. The bus stop for the beach is at the top of the hill - and enterprising young folks have been found providing taxi services to those who don't want to walk back up the hill.

The best day to go here is on Sunday, when most of the shops are closed - so you're not missing anything!

The view is something you'll never forget - and the beach is large enough that people have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the waves or sun.

The water is a bright blue - with rolling waves. Perfect for just about anyone who enjoys a fine beach!

Been here two separate visits and will make it a point to come here again. The best beach I have been to. A must see! Be prepared for a walk if you come here by public bus. There are reasonable transportation options from the bus stop.

Didn't get a chance to write a review went May 2012 VIA cruise. The beach was the best I've been too. The sand was really soft and the scenery was very nice. Two down side. First when we went, it was probably middle-late afternoon and it was VERY VERY crowded and second downside there is a HUGE hill to walk down before you could get to the beach. Very STEEP! Walking down wasn't the problem but walking back was very tiring especially if you are carrying the beach towels and etc... There are however, a lot of cabs available for rent (just for the hill portion) but my boyfriend and i just figured we would just walk. It was pretty easy getting to the beach from public transit so I would not suggest to pay extra from your cruise excursion to get to the beach.

I love the high peaks where you can get great shots of the horseshoe bay. The sand was awesome with specks of pink but the water was too cold since it was November. Overall, the beach was relaxing and very calming.
