Second time back to this resort. Everything the same - as others have written - great staff; lovely pool area, lobby, restaurant; very good menus; rooms are small, but right smack on the beach; extremely nice spot, beautiful beach/ocean, great views, nice and quiet; etc.
This year there was one difference - they now offer day passes to people on cruise ships.
And three out of the four days we stayed, large groups of "cruisers" (groups of over 15)
came in and really disrupted this beautiful, serene, quiet resort. So what was once a "hidden gem", as one reviewer wrote, is now a loud, raucus atmosphere of rude cruisers coming in for the day and ruining it for the regular guests. Such a shame!

Thank you for taking the time to write and for the opportunity to respond. The day pass program is definitely regulated based on the number of rooms sold at the Resort. Coco Reef has done this program the past 4 years and a lot of our day pass guests have actually returned the next year as an overnight guest with us, once they saw how beautiful the Resort is. During your visit we did have a very large demand for day passes and turned away many of them. We did have a family group that booked with us back to back days as you mentioned. We are always ready to address any guest or group that may be disruptive to others and have no problem issuing ultimatums should they not comply. We are happy you still experienced the wonderful benefits of Coco Reef and we apologize that part of your beach experience was detracted. We value your business and hope you will return once again!

This was our first trip to Bermuda and from the minute we arrived at Coco Reef until our departure, we had the most incredible stay.

This hotel is one of the hidden secrets of Bermuda, with the private beach and use of hotels deck chairs and umbrellas. With the hotel being occupied at full capacity of 64 rooms during our stay we still found it to be secluded. At breakfast there were never more than 4 or 5 tables occupied.

The staff were always friendly and helpful, ensuring that whatever you required they'd help to accommodate you.

We did some shore diving and Steve helped us to take the dive gear down to the beach in the golf buggy. Upon exiting the water he was doing a routine drive by to see if we'd come back so he could give us a lift back to the hotel. Susie was great at breakfast, always cheerful and ready with the coffee :)

Doreen and Andrea were the ladies in charge of our rooms whilst we stayed there and were wonderful. Vladimir on the front desk was very helpful. The manager, Vince, helped out when it was busy. He's a great manager and good management means happy staff - which is what you'll find at Coco Reef.

The view from our room 417 was spectacular and the only sad thing about Coco Reef was having to leave - One day we hope to return.

If you are thinking of staying in Bermuda, look no further than this hotel as you will have the best experience of a holiday in Bermuda here.

Thanks to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable and

I debated whether to write this or not as it felt like this was a secret place that very few people knew about, and I hope it doesn't get unbearably crowded as more people find out.

We took a day pass to Coco Reef from the dockyard in June. For $49/person, you have beach and pool access including loungers, umbrellas and towels as well as a very nice lunch. (if you need chairs/umbrellas you'd easily spend this much money at Horseshoe bay)

The stunning beach had a total of 8 people on it, 4 of which were from my group. Chairs and umbrellas are set up on several levels.

The beach was awe-inspiring. Similar sand to horseshoe bay, but WAY less people. The pool was refreshing and very old-worldly.

The lunch was quite good. They had fish sandwiches, burgers, salads.

The package made for a very easy day in Bermuda.

We stayed here 4 nights for a wedding on Memorial Day wknd. The rooms are great and all have views of the water, with spacious balconies. It's a quiet hotel, very good restaurant and other restaurants within walking distance. Beach is beautiful, with reefs for snorkeling directly in front. Staff was super accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. They do not have a spa or waiters on the beach, etc like a bigger resort, which we liked. It's a smaller, more personal, friendly, clean, beautiful resort with a staff that will get you anything you ask for. If you're thinking of having a wedding here, it's ideal. The ceremony was on the beach, drinks on the gorgeous patio, and dinner on another patio. The waitstaff was over the top attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. The whole experience was ideal.

this is the second time we have stayed at this Hotel. Great friendly staff, very clean acommodations, and warm clear water make this a place to relax and enjoy the sunrise. Norma and Susie are just superb in the dinning room and make you feel relaxed and at home. Darryle has got to be the most knowledgeable Bartender in Paget Parrish. Robina runs the reservation side of the hotel and is always available to help. Wild man Steve and his golf cart haul luggage, humans and groceries back and forth from the college side street to the your room. trust me on a hot day you'll love the service!
Elbow beach right next door so let the party begin.

Room Tip: ask for anything on the seconf floor of Morningside.

We recently went to Coco Reef on a day pass. We traveled to Bermuda on the Norwegian Breakaway. We took a taxi to the resort and paid $49 which included use of the pool, beach, towels and we got a two course lunch with a drink. There were 10 of us ranging from 48 to 8. Everyone had a wonderful time. Yes there are a few rocks on the beach so you must be careful but we actually took our snorkel gear and were able to see many fish near the rocks. The water is crystal clear so the rocks are pretty easy to find. The kids had a blast playing in the ocean...If you go directly to the right it is Elbow beach and there are no rocks! We spent hours riding the waves and snorkeling. Everyone agreed Lunch was amazing and I have some picky eaters in my family. We got to the resort around 10am and left about 6pm. It was a great day! I would recommend this resort to anyone! Enjoy!

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a great beach resort but don't care too much about the room itself. The room was OK. It was clean but tired. For example, the light in the bathroom had no fixture around the light and the tub looked old, etc. The TV didn't work correctly and the AC broke down one of the nights. Not major issues but it was just not a fancy type of resort. We didn't really mind since we showered and slept there only. We stayed there because it had a beach (which is amazing) and it is less than 10 minutes to Hamilton. Beware that the bus stop is a LONG, hilly walk from the resort so we cabbed it the whole time. This place didn't really have anything to do at night but the perk is that Elbow Beach Resort shares the same beach and they have a GREAT outside bar and great restaurants so you can go over there at night if you want to stay within walking distance. Overall a great stay.

Room Tip: There were some rooms that were a hike to the beach. I would ask to stay as close to the beach as p...
