Not much to see here, but a few colorful birds and some ducks. Boardwalk is rickety. Definitely needs updating.

while i applaud any country that preserves open space for birds to breed and critters to replicate (i hear there are many toads in this marsh, as well as tiny crab) midst urban sprawl, this would not be something as a tourist that i would appreciate getting off the bus to 'discover'. the boardwalk is in serious decay and as mentioned, the 'walk' is painfully short. you can skulk around the periphery of the pond to watch the ducks with their babies, but ultimately, hike yourself up across middle road on to 'tank road' and take the railway trail for a more pleasant, memorable, and lasting impression of this part of bermuda. p.s. i wouldn't even use this as an area to walk my dog, if i lived in this area, for fear of it chasing birds or getting in to the marsh or ponds!

This marsh was very close to our hotel, but aside from a few (albeit very interesting gekkos!) this was not worth the trip in the winter. It was almost totally dry. We heard great things about it obviously from folks who visited later in the season.

They advertise that there are 35 acres of salt marsh. They don't advertise that there is a very short ( barely a city block long), badly maintained wooden walkway that lets you see just a fraction of it. Took ten minutes and I took my time looking.

I love it there. Great for photoshoots! You will see a lot of different plants and Bermuda "Wild Life"
