Owner description: Three hotels line this beach, making it popular with tourists; you might want to avoid this place if you're not into the Spring Break college kid party scene, which tends to crowd the beach during the Easter season.

Elbow is simply beautiful. Peaceful, easy to get to, and pretty. If you get hungry you can pop over to Mickey's and have lunch.

This is a beautiful south shore beach with soft pink sand and turquoise water. Part of the beach is public (although there is little shade). You can pay for loungers and an umbrella in the private part owned by the Elbow Beach Resort. The crowds tend to head to Horseshoe Bay so that means that Elbow Beach is peaceful but just as beautiful.

We went here our first day in Bermuda. The beach is long and average in width. There was a lot of washed up seaweed on the beach and the sand is not pink like everyone says. You can't lay on the beach even on your towel if you are any where near the hotel area. It's about 300 yards in either direction before you "get off the hotel beach". And there is no shade, and it gets super hot in the sun. The hotel will rent you two chairs and an umbrella for $100 which is ridiculously high. They have a few restaurants on site that the public can use. Average beach - not sure what the hype is all about.

We knew that part of the beach was private. Although it's not clearly marked, there are two rivaling resorts and they are not nice people. We found ourselves in one of the resort's territory. They jumped right on us. You can't be here! They wouldn't let us look around or even buy a drink. They told us to go down to the blue resort area where we could use the bathrooms, eat and drink and rent stuff. We had planned on renting paddle boards and were looking forward to it. Blue beach resort no friendlier and treated us like we were invading cockroaches. So here we are now stranded at the beach in the public section. Outhouses are up the stairs at street level with no working washing station. Nothing to rent. Windy as all get out. Pinker sand than the other beaches and pretty, but we didn't enjoy it and left after an hour. Really messed up our day as we were traveling by bus which is not convenient. Skip it!! Definitely.

Visited while on a cruise. Short drive from Naval Dockyard. Beautiful, soft, cool, clean pink sand beach. Warm, calm turquoise ocean. Much less crowded than Horseshoe Bay where most of ship went. Staff is wonderful. Kids cannot wait to go back.
