Owner description: Three hotels line this beach, making it popular with tourists; you might want to avoid this place if you're not into the Spring Break college kid party scene, which tends to crowd the beach during the Easter season.

Our hotel was directly on Elbow Beach (Coco Reef) so we were fortunate enough to enjoy this beautiful spot for 10 days. The sand is fine and white and the walk to the end of the beach was beautiful and peaceful. Though the beach is much smaller than I thought it would be. Still worth a visit.

Beautiful beach! Have lunch or a drink at Mickey's on the beach of the elbow beach hotel(mandarin hotel), a bit pricey but great food. You can't use the chairs unless you rent them in advanced or book a massage but the public beach is a short walk from mickeys along the water. Otherwise no bathrooms or food. Worth the trip for secluded beach

Loved the beach , its wide but has no facilities. We rang the Elbow beach Hotel to ask how much for chairs and umbrella and they quoted 65 dollars. But if you are clever, you can book a massage for a 145 dollars and you and party can use the amazing pool and beach facilities. We got great service from Mark Ponferrada at the Elbow Beach Hotel spa, massage was amazing and we got the pool to ourselves and the fab beach chairs. We also ate at Mickeys, reasonably priced , service good but only because of lovely Indonesian girl called Reyna. The rest of the staff was abrupt and seemed rushed. I snorkeled around the rocks and saw massive parrot fish fed from the rocks and corals. The sea foor at this beach is flat and just sand, unreal place !

Spent many a happy time on Elbow. Only disadvantage is that when one arrives at the main front where Micky's is located, there is a lengthy walk to the public area as this beach is sectioned off in certain areas for the private use of the resident hotel guests.

Worth a visit though.....
