Owner description: Three hotels line this beach, making it popular with tourists; you might want to avoid this place if you're not into the Spring Break college kid party scene, which tends to crowd the beach during the Easter season.

Beach is excellent however the surf can get high for children. Cost can be high to rent a sun-lounger if you are not a hotel resident. The Lido restaurant block serves good food but is expensive as is the island as a whole.

This has now become my favorite beach in bermuda. If you're a fan of horseshoe bay then you must check out this beach. it's much less crowded and no loud music. it's not super family friendly considering the lack of affordable rentals, and rough surf.

Although you cannot rent umbrellas and chairs from a traditional rental stand, the Elbow Beach Club offers all day rentals for $65 a day which includes two lounge chairs, an umbrella, side table (with cup holders), two towels and two bottles of water. it sounds kind of pricey but they set everything up for you, clean up when you're done and there's no need to lug wet towels and water cooler to the beach to and from the beach. with your rental you can also use the bathrooms and showers located at the beach club.

Another one of Bermuda's beautiful beaches and a lot less crowded then Horseshoe Bay. There are no amenities though i.e. changing room, restaurant etc. If you are looking for these things, then Horseshoe is the place for you.

Went to Elbow beach based on recommendation from a snorkel boat captain. He felt that the beach was the best in Bermuda. It is a very beautiful beach with pristine stand and turquoise water. The beach, even though it is a public beach, has no amenities other than one porta-potty which was in such poor shape, even my teenage son would not use it. Be prepared for a fairly long hilly walk (about 1/3 mile) if you come from the bus stop. If you drive there are a few parking spaces by stairs to the beach. There is absolutely no shade and the cost to rent an umbrella from the nearby hotel is about $65. All in all, we travelled to Bermuda by cruise and enjoyed Horseshoe Bay more - it is much closer, has more buses going there, has snacks, shade, lifeguards, coves to explore, and bathrooms.

Beautiful, quiet, and low key. Very romantic. We stayed at the Coco Reef hotel right on Elbow beach and it was incredible. If you are looking for a peaceful beach, go here!
