“If you love sea glass then go!”

It's off the beaten track and hard to find, but when you do it's all worth it! We took the bus as close as we could and walked and explored on the way. It's a very small beach, not the kind that you would put a towel down and relax at, but as the name states you would look at and collect sea glass. it's really beautiful too see all of the glass on the beach. We walked along the concrete wall and peeked into the coves and walked around the rocks. It was a very nice way to spend some of our time in Bermuda.

“Unusual Beach”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Off the beaten track you would not be able to find it on your own. We had a taxi take us to the beach but it is close to a bus stop. Very pretty beach and the sound of the glass when the waves come in sound like wind chimes

“A Good Start to other Beaches...”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

As many other reviewers wrote, there is sea glass at this beach. You can take the bus to get there...walking in the heat isn't great. It is hard to find, as you think you are walking through someone's yard, but there are stairs to the beach...albeit pretty rickety. The glass is there, but, obviously put there....not like walking beaches in New England where the glass "shows up." We didn't stay too long, as we had gone to Black Bay Cove before this beach, and it was much more beautiful, and was very good for snorkeling. There were tons of beautiful fish, and few people at first. Some sort of foot protection is a must, as there are sharp rocks, and coral. Sea Glass beach has glass, but not much to see, other than just beautiful water, and Bermuda.

“Skip it”

This tiny beach is about a mile or so from Dockyard. It is hard to find and really too far to walk. There are places without sidewalks that are dangerous as a pedestrian. We took a taxi and he took us to the wrong place. We backtracked and finally found it. From the dockyards, you need to turn right at the blue church and walk between the houses and cross the narrow street and take some wooden stairs down. The beach is the width of a small house. It is covered with brown and green sea glass because a bottling company dumped a huge number of bottles off shore when it went out of business. While it was interesting, it was tiny and you cannot take any of the glass anymore. We literally spent 5 minutes there and saw enough. I don't think its worth the hassle to get there for that. It is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

“A very enjoyable morning!”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

This was one of the places my family was most looking forward to on trip to Bermuda. We'd researched via TripAdvisor and general web sites. We took a Taxi from the cruise ship and were there in less than 5 minutes. Upon getting there, we discovered a sign telling us that taking the glass off the beach was a criminal offense. The sign was very obviously new and went against what we had seen on this site and other sites on the web. We took our chances though and took a couple of pieces. Just looking though was very enjoyable - there is so much and they obviously salt the process - so I do not understand the signs. When we got back to the ship, they detected the few pieces my husband had put in his pocket and confiscated those. White the cruise line said we could not bring back food there was no mention of shells or sand but we saw a huge collection of water bottles they had confiscated. Beware - RCCL confiscates sand, shells and sea glass - without telling you!!! Fortunately they did not detect my small collection. So with that said, it was still a wonderful morning. Very secluded, relaxed and beautiful! The walk back was just fine with two grown teenagers. Not sure I would take little ones back though on this route. About a 20 minute walk back to Dockyard.
