We visited Sea Glass Beach and had a great time. Even if you aren't into sea glass, this beach is a hidden gem because it's so quiet and peaceful. I'd hate to see it get so crowded because it's such a treat to see all of the sea glass. It's not easy to find, or get to, so you really need to have a plan to get to and from the beach. It's really cool to see all of the beautiful sea glass at the beach. It's not in an area that tourist visit frequently, but every cab driver or local that we talked to saw no issue with tourists visiting and even taking a little glass with them. When they get upset is when they take gallons upon gallons back with them.

20 minute from King's Wharf. Walk along a narrow road. When get to blue church on left go between apartment buildings on right.find path down little hill to beach. Lots of beach glass - need to be wearing shoes - water shoes probably the best. We were not really interested in taking the glass - what to do with it - but fun to look at and walk around. Short walk to Naval cemetery and swimming beach.

Read about this on trip advisor and thought it sounded interesting. It was neat to see but the area seemed a bit sketchy. It isn't in Hamilton, it is actually down near Royal Naval Dockyard. We got directions from the tourist center and took the bus. Very wierd how all the sea glass ends up in this one little cove. We picked up some as souvenirs of course!

Visited Sea Glass Beach and was impressed. Although we did pick some up and took some home, we did not get greedy. If all visitors took 10 pieces of glass, we would deplete this wonderful beach all too soon.

Seaglass beach was quiet, serene, and free. You can take the ferry to Dockyards and then it's about a $6 taxi to get there. It is right past the convicts cemetery (coming from ferry cemetery is on the left) on the right side. there are some picnic tables there so it's nice to spend a bit of time there. we went at sunset and had a picnic after we collected our sea glass. it was one of the highlights of our trip- a nice, peaceful end. note of caution: on the weekends, the ferry stops running absurdly early (i think 7pm) so dont wait until the last minute to grab a taxi like we did!! :)
