Don't let the name fool you. It is by no means a French restaurant but the food is spot on. I went there early on a Sunday morning before flying out from the island. My wife had their cod fish and potatoes breakfast which she enjoyed. i went with the combo and had french toast. A little sugary but not too bad. The portions were great and compared to the prices on the breakfast menu at Hamilton Princess this was a bargain! Anyone who lives in or visits Bermuda would warn of how expensive just about everything is so don't expect Denny's prices. Although I didn't pay for the meal as it was a treat, I was pleasantly surprised with the reasonable prices. A $70 breakfast at Princess would have only been only about $30/$35 here.
I just read some reviews about a lack of smiling faces... I personally don't care too much about that. Gratuities are commonly automatically tacked on and as long as my order is right and doesn't take forever, I don't need the pampering of a happy server. It is nice to have a pleasant server but not worth skipping out on the food here!
I highly recommend anyone staying in this area to consider this place for breakfast. Especially if you're staying at Hamilton Princess. It's a short walk down the road. Your wallet and stomach will thank you!
