“Chef Doesn't Know How to Cook”
Reviewed December 21, 2013

Fish and Chips were nearly burnt and so greasy the grease sat on top of the fish - it glistened. Mussels described as "Chardonnay, Butter, Shallots, and Parsley" was clearly a Cream Sauce with Garlic - likely an Alfredo - and they (the waiter and the chef) argued that it was as described. When they brought the replacement mussels, they were still served with a cream base. Chardonnay and cream aren't really a good combination.

Afternoon tea was expensive. The Ritz tea in Tyson's Corner, Virginia and Washington DC do tea 1,000 times better than this British hotel.

“Best afternoon tea”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

I love the atmosphere in the gallery at the Hamilton Princess. It looks out on the peaceful courtyard gardens. Very nice tea. Each tea comes with a tiered tray including scones, finger sandwiches, bite sized desserts and a pot of tea. Although a single tea is enough to share with another person, the $24 sharing charge makes it worthwhile to purchase a second tea for the additional $10. Order both teas and share everything with your companion. If you're a fan of English teas, this one shouldn't be missed.

“Mike in Bermuda”
Reviewed November 9, 2013

Had a lunch there a basic salad. The size ordered was a large but the portion looked like a side salad. It was very expensive for what was received. The setting was great, good service and atmosphere. But a review a the menu shows its way over priced for an upscale bar/restaurant.

“Heritage Court: Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

Located in The Fairmont Hamilton Princess, the Heritage Court is the perfect place for the afternoon tea. The place is very nice especially the table overlooking the garden. We did not have a reservation but we were lucky and we were seated at a beautiful table. My husband and I chose two different type of tea and they included salmon, chicken and cucumber sandwiches, pastries, macarones, chocolate and cherry cake. Food was just ok but great atmosphere! Afternoon Tea at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess is an experience not to be missed.

“Old fashioned and expensive”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

I have used this restaurant over the last twenty years, whilst on holiday in Bermuda.
It is very expensive ( as are most of the restaurants) but the food never changes much, year on year.
The curry is fine..
Fish and chips not great, pizzas are a little weird and the stir fry...just isn't stir fry.
The fish chowder is very good..but is served with a scone, called Johnny bread.lwhich makes it like a pudding.
The staff and the bar is the saving grace...ah and it can be over air conditioned,so take a jacket !
