This very quaint boutique hotel had an elegant European/Caribbean feel. We loved the central location on the island providing easy access to Dockyard and St. George via the very efficient ferry system. 5 minute walk to fabulous restaurants and shopping. The courtesy cab ride to the beach from the hotel also included 2 beach chairs and an umbrella!! The staff was exceptional. The pool, honor bar, breakfast, afternoon tea were all top notch. We will definitely be back.

The Rosedon is a gem! Lovely staff all around and very accomodating. I fell and sprained my ankle and the staff did all they could do to accomodate my situation. And all with a smile!
The afternoon teas are delightful! The breakfasts are tasty! Swizzle get together on the porch is wonderful! Taxi cabs at your disposal!
Perfect location for shopping and good dining! Not close to any beach but a cab ride will get you there courtesy of the hotel.
I would return to the Rosedon in a heartbeat! The grounds are beautiful and our stay was relaxing thanks to the Rosedon staff.

Just returned from 5 night stay at the Rosedon and cannot say enough about the place. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. This hotel and it's location is perfect walking distance to many fabulous Hamilton restaurants and transportation. The grounds are immaculate, rooms are pleasantly decorated and well maintained and the pool area is perfect for relaxing with amble towels always at hand. The morning breakfast and afternoon tea is always so well presented, prompt and delicious.I mentioned to the manager how impressed I was with the staff and how we were treated and what an asset every last one of them were to the Rosedon. My travels will require me to go to Bermuda in the near future and look forward to another amazing vacation further enhanced by the Rosedon.

The Rosedon provided a relaxing oasis just a three-minute walk from the heart of bustling Hamilton. Our room had a great view of the serene pool and garden, and was well-appointed with a comfortable bed, table and chairs big enough to take a meal on, and was clean and fresh. The staff was very accommodating and answered all our way-finding questions about Bermuda. Re: b'fast included with room the food was not extraordinary but having it delivered to our room to take b'fast and tea/coffee from china was a rare and delightful treat. The veranda makes a lovely setting for afternoon tea and mingling with other guests. The trip to the beach was smooth and amazingly the public beach they sent us to was not real crowded. We assume so many vacationers stay at resorts with private beaches, the public ones weren't that busy. Between the hospitality, amenities, and setting, the Rosedon made the perfect place to start our vacation.

We had travelled to Bermuda twice previously (one stay at Grotto Bay and one cruise) so I truly did my homework- and it paid off big time. The Rosedon is, by far, the best place we have stayed in any of our travels. They far exceeded our expectations. The staff is beyond friendly- they treat you as family. (if it weren't for the bill when we left, we would have thought we stayed with family). The rooms are clean and "homey" and nicely decorated. The grounds are well kept. A nice pool (which goes to over 8 feet deep), very clean. Plenty of towels and chairs at all times. Breakfast is served daily, you pick where. We had our breakfast right outside our room every day (our room was in the main house section, with a nice balcony overlooking the pool). There is no formal restaurant but you can order food if you want to eat lunch or dinner there. We had the "holiday" package which included admission tickets to the aquarium, the crystal caves and the maritime museum- things we would not have bothered doing otherwise, and all were fun and interesting. We also got a bootle of champange and a boxed picnic lunch included. Nice touches. The location is good- a short walk to many restaurants and shops. Oh, also included was a 3 hours glass bottom and snorkel boat trip, which was fantastic. Afternoon tea was daily at 4pm (until 5:30) and always had sandwiches and cakes. Tuesday evening was a Rum Swizzle party on the front porch, and they had so many appetizer foods that we didn't even go out to dinner that night. There were no kids or children during our stay- I like kids but it was nice to not have to listen to kids running around. Since the location is not near the beach, they probably just don't get a lot of families with kids. If you want the beach, they offer a daily free transport via taxi to Elbow Beach. We went once, near sunset, just to take photos. We are not beach people, but the option is there. I just can't say enough about how wonderful this place was. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I will be happy to try to answer them for you. They also have free wifi.

Beautiful historic building, about a 5 minute walk into downtown Hamilton. Rooms in the main house are spectacular, with 4 poster beds and 12 foot ceilings. They have tea at 4pm, and your breakfast can be brought to your room. Free transportation to Elbow Beach. Lovely accomodation, with best combination of location and servces.

My daughter & I've been coming to the Rosedon for about 15 years. Can't say enough about the wonderful staff and accomdation. This family owned place is much better than a "cold" hotel. Breakfast by the pool and easy walk into Hamilton. Can't wait to go back next year
