“Calm and order - like Post Offices used to be”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

This historic post office is just as it was when Mr Perot was Postmaster General in the early nineteenth century. The wooden chair and desk, the jars and pots decorating the walls, the simple decoration - and it's a charming place to buy beautiful Bermudian stamps for your postcards from the gracious lady behind the counter.

“for free, 'take' (a look)”
Reviewed June 4, 2012

while manned by a docent, this small museum, for free, gives a nice look at both bermuda's archetectural past an some of its culture. there are many fine old portraits, a clock with beautiful moving figures, lots of cedar and some interesting 'objects de art'. If there were a charge for this, I'd rank it as 'average', but as there is not, DO avail yourself of it (and if you feel it's worth $2 or $4 , it's a voluntary donation). It is right near the park and the library, tucked in to its original historic location.

“An Excellent Use of 30 Seconds”

A working post office that hasn't changed since it was built. Very British Colonial. Makes you feel like you should be wearing a pith helmet. Pop in and take a picture.

A bit of 'old Bermuda' that is still functional. The ladies are great and most helpful. A unique experience

“Very old Building”
Reviewed March 2, 2012

The Perot stamp is one of the world's rarest/most valuable postal stamps. Perot is the name of the postmaster who issued that stamp and this is the building that he worked out of way back when!
