The BUEI was a short walk from our hotel so we decided to check it out. We were more than pleased with the low ticket price of $10 and the friendly staff. The shell exhibit was quite lovely and the short "submarine" ride was cute and fun. It was a very interactive experience and fun for all ages.

Small museum / teaching centre with beautiful shell collection. The dive or shark experience is pretty tame and suited for very young kids. Worth stopping by en route downtown.

a group visit by an international group of sailors was welcomed by the museum and fed a delicious dinner at the restaurant below. Since Bermuda was "founded" by a shipwreck the museum leads visitors through a history of wrecks and discoveries surrounding the island reefs. In addition to the technology from many eras, there is a spectacular shell collection. Perhaps the highlight of the visit was a simulated "dive" in an underwater submarine. Not quite Disneyland, but very good simulation of the explorers' experience

Was worth going to, but not amazing. The "dive" was fun and there had obviously been a lot of work put in to it. The shark "attack" is pretty lame to be honest.

Very disappointing. No live exhibits. Did have a nice shell exhibit. Would not waste my time with this place.
