My husband and I just returned from a 7 night stay at the Hamilton Princess and overall we had a great week. We have not stayed at this property before (stayed at the Fairmont Southampton last year) but were very pleased with the hotel. We stayed on the Gold level and as many others have noted here, the staff in the lounge are lovely. Alexander, George, Peter, Michael and Pia - I know I am missing a few - were so attentive and I never saw any of them without a smile on their faces. Really exceptional service on that front. We chose to stay by the adult pool rather than the infinity pool during our stay, as it was quieter and more relaxing. Fresh towels were always readily available and the view over the marina was lovely. We did enjoy sensational massages at the Exhale spa. My therapist was Claire and she did a spectacular deep tissue massage. I'm not sure of the therapist that my husband had but he said it was the best massage of his life. My only gripe about the spa would be the extent of the facilities. I enjoy the overall experience and having access to a sauna, steam or private pool/jacuzzi etc. This was missing from the spa, which for such a new spa in a recently renovated property was surprising. There is a small "zen" room which gym goers were also in with us, so that (ever so slightly) took away from the experience. But as I said the massages themselves were exceptional which is most important. We dined at all three restaurants on the property and they were all very good. I would say the menus were slightly limited, and when you are on an extended trip as we were they can seem repetitive. For this reason, the proximity to the shops and restaurants in Hamilton was great because that gave us more dining options. We originally booked a Fairmont room overlooking Hamilton. When we checked in and realized that it didn't have a balcony and had quite a small bathroom, we inquired about upgrading since we were there for an extended period. We ended up moving to a signature room with a balcony overlooking the Marina which was lovely. The bathroom was still rather small and did not have a bathtub but it was very well appointed and the room didn't feel cramped for a 7 night stay. Overall, we were very pleased and I am sure we will be back!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We visited for our one year anniversary and prior to arriving I emailed the concierge for restaurant recommendations for our anniversary dinner. I got an extremely quick response with menus for places Attached ! On arrival to the hotel the service continued to be amazing, from the wonderful men at the front door greeting you (sometimes with a song) to the staff working around the hotel to accommodate the guests! When we checked in someone showed us to our room as well as gave us a tour of the hotel to let us know where everything was located. The hotels pools are beautiful and have towels and staff available at all times to order food or drinks. To top off wonderful service, we returned to our room on the night of our anniversary to a bottle of champagne and cake compliments of the hotel staff. The hotel is a very quick walk to town so I recommend it to anyone who wants to be close enough to shopping and other restaurants. 5$3 hotel also has 3 great restaurants on site. The 1609 restaurant has the best view and is great for a sunset dinner !!! The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. The hotels beach club is as well amazing and beyond relaxing. On arrival the chairs are ready with towels already on them. You are given a service button to hit if you need anything at all. There is also a second beach for guests use that is in walking distance (up a hill) that is beyond beautiful !!!! It just does not have chairs. The hotel provides transportation every 30 mins to the beach. On one occasion the shuttle back from the beach was full so the hotel paid for cab for us back to the hotel !!!! Like I said I could go on forever with all the wonderful amenities and the hotel staff ! Highly highly recommend ...5 stars !!!

Our first visit to Bermuda, but not our last!

Staying at this hotel made our stay perfect. The location, staff and facilities provided by this hotel were amazing.

Carvel the doorman was very helpful, friendly and entertaining. Wesley too, welcomed us in everyday from amazing day trips with a 'welcome home' greeting. Only a minor point, but it would be nice if staff opened both the inner and outer doors at the main entrance - not because I'm lazy, just because it's a nice greeting for guests.

I highly recommend this as a perfect place to stay in Bermuda. We couldn't decide between this hotel and the Fairmont Southampton, but on visiting that hotel on one of our trips, we made the right choice with the Princess! The Southampton is way out of town and away from everything and very much has the feel of a resort rather than hotel, fine if you like all the organised activities - but we prefer to do our own thing. Whereas the Hamilton Princess is located just a few minutes walk from the bustle of Front Street and I didn't get that holiday camp feel, but more so a relaxed environment where staff are there if you need anything. The fitness centre and pool are excellent too! We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea on our last day in the Crown & Anchor, as well as food and drinks throughout our week long stay.

The free Jitney service to the Princess Beach Club is great and when you arrive at the Beach Club, wow, what a great place! Highly recommended!
