There are two art galleries in City Hall and neither should be bypassed by visitors. Though small, like the island, do not be fooled, Bermuda is known for its art.

Very nice collections with some "big names", just don't expect the Met and you will have a good time. What I liked most was the organization by content, mixing styles to show common themes was very interesting. The Docent was both knowledgeable and very friendly. The building itself is also Historic and fun to see.

There was not too much to see at this gallery. It is a beautiful piece of architecture though. Staff were helpful and friendly.

This small art museum in City Hall has both modern Bermuda artists and great names like Rembrandt and Gainsborough. An interesting place to spend an hour.

From a critical thinking point of view another writer stated this gallery was average however in my personal opinion you can't compare this place to big galleries around the world. I myself have been to the Art Gallery of Ontario & the Art Gallery of Hamilton in Cansda and both these places are competitive in content to other international galleries. I have even been to the National Art Galley in Washington, DC as well but the Bermuda gallery shows what is unique plus special to this island. I like to go to musuems, art galleries, etc. when I travel throughout the world. I am always open minded to local conditions and this is a nice little gallery that allows local talent to show off what they can do. Keep up the good work here and don't worry about being compared to more worldy places of art as you are doing just fine here!
