Eight of us enjoyed a very good evening here on a local bank holiday ( so other places were shut and this was quite quiet ). We chose a variety of steak and fish dishes , all of which were well received , and were also lucky enough to dig out some good value wines from a extensive list ( the red Graves is a bargain and complimented the steaks beautifully ) . My guess is that this is mainly frequented by business clients ,located as it is near the business district and slightly away from the harbour , but for a group of friends looking for a convivial night out it served its purpose equally well. Service was good if a little perfunctory and towards the end of the evening one waiter with no authority to serve from the bar was left to sort us out . Try the lobster mac and cheese and also any of the steaks.
