Fabulous fish. Elegant room. Large portions. Get in tune with your inner carnivore (fishivore?), the lobster tank is quite visible, plus lots of dead ones in the case. Service was very professional and Bermuda friendly. Decent wine list. Spent $140 for two with gratuity.

I chose Flying Fish as was celebrating Hubby's bday and he only eats seafood. The selections were numerous and varying in style and ingredients ...so plenty to choose from!! The food was amazing! Clean, fresh, nicely seasoned..no heavy sauces! Particularly loved the trio of fish that was served on the steaming platter...AMAZING! As we enjoyed our meal I was debating..how I was going to rate...the meal was so enjoyable! We noticed that when tables around us got to dessert it was served very quickly! When we received our desserts , we saw why! It was such a disappointment to realise the desserts were not freshly made in house but of the pre-made variety that could be purchased at the gourmet supermarket across the street! An incredible let down after incredible 1st & 2nd courses! Hence the 4* rating.

Another negative is that it was a steady but not busy night but all the deuces were seated in a row down one side of the restaurant. There was little space between the deuces..close enough that our neighbors were close enough to feel comfortable to comment on our selections. felt like we were in a NYC deli restaurant instead of out for a special night!

The service was ok. The servers completed tasks as expected but with zero personality or interaction.Only person who showed any zest was the Manager on duty.

However, the first two courses were good enough that we will def return. We'll just plan to have icecream at home for dessert!

Need I say more? Honeymooning at The Princess Hotel on Pitts Bay road, just a stone's throw away. I ordered the evening's special which was a medley of three local catches - Wahoo, Tuna & Rockfish. Beautifully cooked and presented with a light panaché of steamed veg & sautéd potato. My wife order the imported selection of giant prawn, scallop & atlantic salmon. We shared & compared. The prawn was amazing, the scallop cooked to perfection and the fish, well, we're definitely going back there again. I can't think of anywhere cooking better fish - and we've been to quite a few places. Great place for couples, friends and family - keep the young ones away - they WON'T enjoy it :-)

The ambiance/atmosphere here is very unique! The service was fine but the food was amazing. My wife had the "catch of the day" which was a trio of fish that she enjoyed. We got a sushi roll for the table which everyone loved and my seared tuna steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Highly recommend this place for seafood lovers

This is a "sleeper pin." Very close to the Rosedon and we could have easily missed it since it needs a much better "curb appeal." But, make no mistake about it, they know their fish and our meal was A+. Highly recommend it and would definitely come back.
