“Comfy and Cozy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2014

It's a Danish and coffee place with couches, books and newspapers in a relaxed setting. It expands to a second room with a piano and microphone with lots of couches. It looks like a great place for youth groups to meet. We loved it. The coffee cake is made by the owner's relative and is amazing.

“Kinda average...but there are vegetarian choices”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2014

It seems like a funky coffee shop that's a little out place in St. George. We stopped by for a vegetarian sandwich. The sandwich was decidedly average. Simple loaf white bread and grilled veggies. Not bad, just average.

Hi there,

Thanks for the review. We do not claim in anyway to be a veggie place and provide a veggie sandwich and a veggie panini out of courtesy for those who don't eat meat as there are very limited choices in Bermuda in general. We also have a hummus option.

I need to correct your inaccuracy about the "white bread" ... we don't have any white bread at all so you either had the organic oat bread or the light wheat bread.

Thanks,

Michelle

“Oasis for brunch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

On a boiling hot morning, in desperate need of caffeine and cool, we discovered the CV Café - just down the steps from the bus stop by the convenience store, tucked into the corner. Fantastic coffee drinks (hot and cold) and delicious brunch food and a wonderful large second room with great air conditioning set up like a lounge where you can sit on sofas and really relax. A nice friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices.

“Artsy, quirky and cozy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

I'm a local, and whenever I visit the town of St. George, I can't help but to stop and experience the artsy vibe of CV Cafe. I enjoy all of their organic teas and juices. The owner has come up with a unique drink menu with variations of tasty teas, teas on ice (especially on hot summer days) and fruity mocktails (smoothies). In addition, you can order your coffees which I find is nice to have with one of their pastries or paninis. You can cozy up in the corner on their couch or in their back room lounge which feels like you're visitng a best friend's home. Also interesting is that you can discover some 'off the beaten path' books that you can dive into while there. I personally like to bring friends and make an afternoon out of it. It's a great place to relax before heading back out to explore the town. It's a must do, plus the owner is just lovely and will make you feel right at home!

“Cvs is the best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

CV Cafe is the best place to get breakfast, lunch, dinner or ice-cream, coffee, even wine or beer.
With gluten free bread and almond milk they cater for the restricted diets ( hard to find in Bermuda) and you can catch an acting class, or poetry reading or whatever else is going on in the gathering room attached, and pick up a gift while you are there. And dont hesitate to talk to the owner Michelle who is there most of the time, she can give you St. Georges tips for when you head out to wander the old town. A wonderful up to date cafe catering to all your needs!
