This historic church has many plaques with epitaphs which will touch your heart. Stand outside the front steps on a clear day and appreciate the contrast between the blue sky and the brightly colored neighboring buildings and the church. Tour the cemetery and notice the unusual plants and trees. Some historic places have the ability to transport you back in time. St. Peter's Church is one of those places.

luv visiting historic churches and this one is the oldest Anglican Church in Western Hemisphere. Would have liked to either have had a docent give a tour to a group (someone was giving info to a young man but he was not including others) or either have it so that you could at least go to the rail and say a prayer. It was neither one, but still I was glad to see the historic structure and to know that it is still in use every week.

Lovely old Bermuda cedar construction throughout. Bermuda cedar is gorgeous and unfortunately extinct now due to over harvesting in the past and finally a blight in 1940.

There's much to learn in the church and in the graveyards adjacent. A lovely lady of ninety (yes!) gave us an impromptu tour last year, including a view of the sacramental silver. Long may she live to teach others!

Stopped here while sightseeing in St George's. The church is beautiful & enjoyed all the plaques to those whose mark on Bermuda will never be forgotten. There is a small cemetery surrounding the church. It is very easy to walk to from the main part of town, but there is a flight of stairs to walk up to the church.
