I definitely recommend a visit to St. Peter's Church during a visit to St. George. The staff was very pleasant and provided useful information for visitors.

“Fantastic Old church with colonial history”
Reviewed February 28, 2013 via mobile

Visiting an historical place of worship and walking around an old English church graveyard is always interesting, but even more so when that church is on Bermuda at the place where the first colonisers arrived.
Fascinating colonial history and well maintained and presented.
The lady on the door was very informative and the provided brochure was a good guide.
As previously mentioned it is free but a donation is requested.
Well recommended for half hour of your time when visiting St. George

“Bermuda must see”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

Before our trip to Bermuda, we asked some friends who are frequent visitors what were the must-see, must-do things. St. Peter's Church was at the top of the list. It was very easy to find and very accessible. It is quiet and peaceful, and full of Bermudian history. Highly recommended.

“Worth a short visit”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

The church has a very interesting history. The volunteer provided lots of background information and stories. Be sure to check out the artifacts kept at the back and to wander around the cemetery.

St. George is easy to walk in a couple of hours and the St. Peter's church is one of the highlights. Well preserved and staffed by a volunteer who will answer your questions.
