Horseshoe is beautiful but Tobacco Bay is fun! Great snorkeling among the reefs- lot sof varied fish, birds. Lovely cliffs and pillars in the water. Free shuttle from town and we got for $3.00 per person a minivan back to the ferry to Dockyards. Small beach but great sand in water and out. Food, drink and concessions available. Bring bread forthe fish!!!!

Great snorkeling but it seems like every tourist on the island was there. Saw some clueless couple feeding fish BANANAS... They must have missed the memo about not feeding wildlife in general but especially fish. The more you feed them, the greater the fecal content int the water and the ensuing feeding frenzy will attract their predators. Please don't be this clueless.

Beautiful little beach that is great for snorkeling but not very accessible if you don't have transportation (i.e. moped). You can take a taxi or shuttle bus from St. Georges - you can walk from the Town of St. George.
Def worth a visit though.

A delightful bay for swimming and snorkelling. Not much shade though unless you rent umbrellas. Have to be honest didn't try the beach bar since it has been taken over.

Great diversity of sights snorkling on the outside of the rock formations. Go off hours like late in the day to avoid crowds from cruise ships. Walk to Achilles Bay for more if the same. Take a taxi from ferry for easy transportation. Walking is a bit unneasy without sidewalks.
