“Nice Little Beach”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

This is a great little beach! The water is nice and clear w/ a mostly soft sand bottom (a few rocks here and there, but you can see them) and there is quite a bit of sea life, so I highly recommend snorkeling here. If you don't have your own snorkeling gear, you can rent it for $10/hour or $25 for the day. You can also rent beach chairs and umbrellas here for $5 and $7 each. There is a little bar at the top of the beach (may have food too, but we only ordered drinks), $8.50 per small Rum Swizzle. My only complaint about this beach was that the beach itself was a little dirty when we visited, littered with some plastic forks and cups, children's jewelry and other garbage. Not enough litter that I would recommend not going - and definitely cleaner than the beach at Fort St. Catherine, which is a bigger, but much dirtier, beach about 1/2 mile away with no chair/umbrella rentals. Also, no bus service to this beach - but from the center of town it only took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach.

“Great Snorkeling”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

snorkeling was great - easy to get a taxi from Saint George or even walk. The facilities were not extensive.

“Small, calm, and sea life :)”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

The beach is very small, but if you're here, most of your time will be in the water. There is seating in the restaurant or you can be more adventurous and find other areas behind the restaurant. Because the water is calm and the small sea life is abundant, there are lots of opportunities to admire sea creatures.

“fun in the sun”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

This beach is smaller and less crowded than some of the other more famous Bermuda beaches but the ame sea and beautiful views are here for you to enjoy. The calamari at the little beach shack were some of the best I have eaten too!

“Swimming in an aquarium!”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

Our quick ferry ride from the cruise dock brought us to this great snorkleing and swimming area. The water is so clear , it's almost hard to believe! The rock formations are amazing and provide for really great pictures. The Buzz Bar at the beach helps to fill the void with excellent food. Reminds me of Baby Beach in Aruba with Big Momma's!
