My partner booked this for my birthday as a surprise, previous to our visit she had told me that she had asked them if they could put up some bunting as a small gesture, which they refused as they lived too far away. My partner understood this but this did not show to begin with an 'above and beyond' mentality.
We settled into the lovely cabin, with great décor and views, it had plenty of utensils and everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including a fantastic fire place. It was a great area to explore a lot of what west Wales has to offer (check out Caws Cenarth nearby!).
However, after our first night my partner was making the bed when she came across two pairs of dirty underwear (which didn't belong to either of us) which showed the cleanliness of the bedroom. It then became apparent that a lot of the cabin was unclean and dusty (including the kitchen utensils). We understand that it is the last people's responsibility to clean up after themselves but surely the housekeeper should check that the cleanliness of the cabin is suitable for the next people to arrive? To add to this, there were stains on pillows and tables were pretty much dust-ridden.
This is not a personal attack, we would definitely without question recommend this place to friends, but we felt that we needed to point this out so that it would maybe not happen again in the future.
