Owner description: Perfect for children, inexperienced swimmers and snorkelers, this pretty beach is appropriately named since the water is as calm as a wading pool and only five feet deep.

This beach is a little out of the way but it is beautiful. It was clean and had little huts for shade. This beach was not as crowded as Eagle Beach. We took a little side road to get here and there was a large area of crosses that we drove by. Turns out the locals bury there animals here. I don't know why this tradition started but it was pretty neat to see the care they had in burying their 4 legged family members. We also found some beautiful cliff views near here so when you get tired of the beach, go ahead and do some exploring!

Went here on the de plam bus tour. Not all that impressed. Beach was nice and clean but not really many facilities for bathrooms etc.

Awesome location for snorkeling or just sitting by the beach. No real amenities although a couple of good local snack bars. Big Mommas was fun. Chairs are $8 each or 2 with a cover for $47. About 40 min from Palm Beach, but pretty easy drive.

I'm not sure what all the hype is about concerning this beach. I'm not a snorkel person so perhaps that's the main attraction here. I do know that the beach is very shallow and you are overlooking an oil refinery so not really conducive to relaxing if you ask me. If you go beyond the breakers be prepared for some serious and potentially dangerous surf. This is where the basketball player Dan Roundfield died saving his wife - stay on the shallow side.

There are two food/drink establishments here and beach chair rentals so it is a destination place away from the hotels. When we went it wasn't very crowded and that has a certain appeal but honestly I don't think it's worth a return visit.

This is one beautiful local beach!!! We only spent a few hours here but I could have spent a whole day there relaxing and enjoying the sun!
