Description: Giannis Ristorante Italiano starts it's story in 1984 when Giovanni and Filomena Ferrara opened their first family owned restaurant in down town Oranjestad, Aruba. As one of the first Italian restaurants in Aruba success was very quick to follow, through the years up to now the family has slowly moved from downtown to the new nightlife area in Palm Beach better known as the strip. Gianni's was the beginning of a family of restaurants across the island, always specializing in extraordinary culinary experiences. Today you can still meet some of the family in Gianni's, the Italian side of the Ferrara family originates from Castellamare di Stabia, a small city on the Napoli Coast in Italy. You can find the menu at Gianni's is geared more around Napoli food but as the years have passed and our customer base has grown, we have extended into other regions of Italy to create a more complete Italian experience for our customers. Gianni's is well known for constantly changing towards modern times and better ingredients, always looking to import the freshest and finest quality ingredients to enhance our customer experience. Our motto has always been; try to find the best, enjoy the best, and share it with our guests.

“YUM!”

We ate here twice in one trip. The food was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are just right. I wanted everything on the menu. The restaurant gets very crowded so it's recommended to have a reservation.

Thank you for your great review! Great to hear that you had a good time at Gianni's visiting twice...it can get crowded so we always recommend making a reservation although we also have walk-ins.

Hope you are having a great time on the island of Aruba may you create as much memories possible and we hope to see you back soon on the island!

“parmesan formagio a must”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

We have dined at Gianni's at least once every trip (4 and counting) to Aruba. We have always been ok with no reservations being seated promptly. This time we we told we would have to wait and no outdoor seats were available. It took several minutes until a bartender acknowledged us but we were then taken care of although my husband had to explain that an "on the rocks" martini should be served in an on the rocks glass (it was a great martini though) After about 10 or 15 minutes we ended up being seated at an outdoor table in a prime spot. We have always been intrigued by the photo outside of the parmesan cheese round with pasta. Finally decided to try it. Very good. From the arrival of the cart with the large cheese wheel and the tableside presentation to devouring the dinner we thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered sides of meatballs. We were told a side would be enough for two but we each ordered our own. one side is four very small meatballs so depending on your appetite order accordingly. Servers were pleasant and efficient. We will be dining at Gianni's again on our next trip to Aruba.
