My husband and I ate at Gianni's the other night. We are Italian and from NY, so we know good, authentic Italian food when we taste it. We had the special artichoke appetizer, which was by leaps and bounds the best artichoke either of us have ever had. I need I try to replicate it when I get home. We had a Caesar salad, which was good but nothing to write home about. I had the soup and it was delicious. We shared the lobster ravioli for our entree. My husband loved it, I thought it was pretty good. We also had a bottle of wine and espresso with sambuca. Our total was only $135 which was extremely reasonable. Our waiter Mauro was great. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because we also ordered an anti pasti appetizer that was never brought out, yet it was on the bill. We were charged for double espressos even though we only received singles. But Mauro fixed our bill and even brought us limoncello on the house.
