Our party of six was expecting great things, based on Internet reviews. Our servers were first-rate, but unfortunately the food was not. The caramelized shrimp dish was too heavy on the sesame oil, and the shrimps were not cooked all the way. The mahi-mahi was overcooked, the asparagus and salmon dish was lackluster, and the interesting potato pancake dish was flavorless and the pancake was burnt on the bottom. We would give this place three stars instead of four, but for the excellent service. When my wife said she couldn't eat the mahi-mahi, they brought her grouper and did not charge for either plate. The atmosphere is the place is classy, but we won't be back. Compared to the complex, flavorful, amazingly inventive , and utterly delicious food we had at Yemanja last night -- well, there is no comparison.
