This is a low key restaurant that we visit often as near our hotel. Fish soup is very good and they have a full scope of meals and pric range

We are breakfast here twice and love the buffet. They have everything from fresh made omelets, meats, pancakes, potoatoes, french toast and fruits. Coffee or tea is included in the price, but juice is extra, but unlimited.
We also ate for the Sunday night buffet, that they call BBZ night. For a southern like me, I was thinking chicken or pork bbq, but it was grilled items, which was fine. It appears that the word, BBQ, just means grilled meats. The buffet was cheaper than expected and we had a coupon in several books (one is the small book at the hostess stand). The food consisted of several types of meat, steak, chicken, sausage, shrimp and fish. The best were the chicken and steak, but some skewers were more cooked than others. At first glance the salad bar seemed minimal, but once you started making your salad, everything seemed to pair well. The potoato and pasta salad were different, but great. They also had potatoes, corn on the cob and beans, all pretty good for a buffet. They were super busy that night, so service for diink refills was Aruba time, but our waiter was great. We also ordered 2 long island ice teas and were disappointed. A splah of coke as the menu suggested was more like a splash of alcohol, the drink was dark so it had tons of coke in it. At one point, the decoration on our table (a wine bottle) caught the wind and spilt the drink in my husband's lap. The waiter quickly helped us get napkins and then brough an additional drink without being asked.

I was in Aruba between February 16th and 23rd. Moomba Beach was the first restaurant we visited on our arrival day of 2/16. It took a while to find the restaurant behind the hotels but we managed. I had reservation and did not wait for table. Remember you are in a tropic island and everything works on island “speed”. We had our appetizers in 20 minutes or so. Then we waited for almost an hour to get our main course. As we were waiting, guests in one of table protested and left the restaurant without having their desert. I could not do the same as we were hungry after 8 hours flight. Our waiter was a nice guy and served well. But, apparently the kitchen was backed up.

As far as the food goes, I had grouper and it was fine. My wife and son had shrimp and chicken. They were not happy with the food.

All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant. They are very slow even with island “Speed” and the food is just OK. Not worth the wait.

We had reservations for 6 at Moomba on Valentines Day. We were seated promptly on arrival. The location on the beach at sunset was a great touch. A variety of specialty drinks were ordered and all were good. The service was painfully slow, but that seems to be the Aruba standard. The location of the bar and kitchen appeared to put a lot of wasted miles on the wait staff. We were attended to by no less than 6 different people, which also resulted in uneven service. We ended up getting charged for a drink that was not delivered, but paid the error rather than wait a long time to get it corrected.
We ordered a variety of dishes and all were good with the exception of the grouper, which was mushy and undercooked.
The overall experience was pleasant, the food and drinks were good and the beach location was exceptional. I would recommend a visit.

Spent happy hour here and were having so much fun we didn't want to leave! Ended up ordering the pizza which was good enough. Bar service was fast, great music and awesome environment. Had a blast and will be returning!
