The property boast two swimming pools and a fully equipped dive shop operated by Aqua Windies for sales, services and rentals of scuba and snorkeling equipment, as well as, daily guided reef tours. So naturally Reef and Beef offers a 10% discount to Certified Divers! “Fantastic Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014 via mobile

My diving buddies and me grabbed lunch here after a dive with AquaWindies next door. We wanted to try the lion fish. We were not disappointed. One of our group ordered the lion fish (we all tried it), two had the grouper and I had the cheeseburger. The fish meals were fantastic and the fish was prepared perfectly. The cheeseburger is different than in the US, so I can't make a fair comparison. It was more of a steakburger (piece of steak versus ground beef). They are very focused on making sure you leave happy and work hard to do so. We plan to eat there again on our trip - which says it all.

“Nice place for lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2014 via mobile

We visited it for lunch as we wanted to try their famous lion fish ( and help saving the Aruban reef )
It was really good as they were good also the other dishes we tried ( grouper Creole and fish sandwich ).
If you are a certified diver you get a special discount, but you have to ask them as it's not written anywhere ;-)

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2014

I had high hopes for this TA favorite, but it fell short for my family of 4. My daughter and I ordered the steak special, and it was inedible. We could not chew the meat and had to send it back. The chicken Caesar salad was average. The birds were fun, as was the duck, but I don't understand the rave reviews.

“Not good”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2014

We arrived at the restaurant at 3:20 on Wednesday afternoon but were told the restaurant was closing because of the football game on TV at 4 p.m. We live in Aruba so I guess it should not be a big problem, but it is. If a restaurant hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., then it should be open the posted hours. We will probably not go back.

We are sorry for your bad experience. We did close earlier because of the Holland-Argentina soccer game. As dutch arubans this was a huge deal for us that happens once in every 4 years.
I want to invite you guys back over for your complementary lunch.

“What a great little place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2014

We happened to find Reef and Beef Restaurant by accident. Just walking one morning exploring Aruba, when we saw the sign on the corner. It is located almost across the street from the hospital, near the low-rise resorts. Walked in and the owner, Ed, greeted us. We talked and he told us about lionfish. We decided that afternoon to go back and try it. They were sold out by the time we got there so we had the grouper, which was fantastic, but Abigail, who was so nice, said she had some lionfish pieces too small to sell in a dinner and she would fix them for us. It was delicious! We went back to the Reef and Beef later in the week, and had the grouper again. This time Abigail brought us out dessert that she wanted us to try. Again, delicious! We will not go back to Aruba without visiting this restaurant. Their food is delicious and the people, Ed, Abigail, and our cute little server, were so gracious. They made our vacation so enjoyable. If you are in Aruba, you need to try this place. You will be happy you did!
