“Day at the beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

My wife and I recently visited Aruba on a cruise vacation. While there we took a taxi for a day to Palm Beach. The beach was very clean and free of shells and rocks making it ideal to enjoy walking and swimming. The water was very calm the day we were there and we had a wonderful day. We look forward to returning and would recommend this beach while in Aruba.

“Lovely Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

Though some may not like the level of crowd at Palm, it's a very large long stretch and never feels over crowded to me. The water is fantastic along the white sand beach, with a good sandy bottom. You don't have to go far out for it to get deep, and it is rarely very wavy. The beach is quite clean as well, much more so than when I first went back in 1995. Plastic cups from the hotel guests are the usual culprit, but I didn't see as many this time.

“Fun, typical resort beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

We stayed at a resort on Palm Beach and did not venture off to some of the other beaches in Aruba. It is a nicely maintained beach with probably thousands of little palm umbrella type structures up and down the beach in front of each resorts. If you are looking for a fun, active, resort experience this is the perfect place for you. If you like off the beaten track with few people you will hate this beach. The positives are that you have access to shade, lounge chairs, lots of dining and drinking options, all the water sports excursions are available and great people watching opportunities.

“Lovely white sand beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

We went there on a day trip from a cruise ship stop. We took the local bus for $2.30 p.p. each way. Get off at the stop after Senor Frog's and enter the beach through the Hyatt Hotel. Sandra will rent you a chair for $5. per person. The sand is white, the water is warm and the lunch at the Pelican's Nest had a great view.

“Typical Resort Beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort right on Palm Beach. Yes, it's beautiful, but it's crowded as most resort beaches are. If you don't mind the crowd, roped off swim areas, and the noise of others on the beach, you'll enjoy it. We preferred something a little more natural, and chose Arashi and Malmok.
